Hi,
Can anyone shed any light on what might be causing my 306 Cab to only do between 170 - 200 miles on a tank full?
Any ideas or help would be greatly apprecieted.

I guess you will have checked or would have noticed any possible fuel leaks...
Faulty ICU maybe?

That sounds far too high a consumption. Some basic DIY things to check are the air filter, is it clogged up or dirty. Remove the spark plugs and examine them, the Haynes colour spark plug page will show how they should look, but black isn't good!
Fuel leaks are always possible, either the fuel line, or a hole in the tank. Also is the gauge reading coorectly, when its reading empty how much does it take to fill, compared to the handbook figure.
If all fails I'm afriad its off to your local fuel injection specialist (such as LSUK, Bosch etc) or a garage having the necessary computer for your ECU (including main dealers!).
