I've got a 1992 106 XN Carb 1.1 and i want to know if i can put an instrument panel from an XSI into my XN. Does anybody have any ideas?

The best thing to do is to get hold of the electric diagram of both cars and check what goes to the instrument panels. The XSi panel will have more instruments than your XN, so some won't work simply because your car is not equipped and wired for them (eg: rev counter, oil pressure gauge). However all of your existing XN instruments should be there.
There is also a slight risk that the plugs aren't exactly the same, but as long as the wires are numbered, you can work around that and do a bit of DIY.
So, if you want to install the XSi instrument panel because it looks nicer and it has more instruments, remember that a simple swap won't be enough.

Cheers for that. Do you know anywhere where I can find a full original spec for my car?

both should be in your handy Haynes manual. Just make sure you dont mix up the diesel and petrol ones.

Some wiring diagrams for various 106 models (and also other Peugeot) available here: peugeot.mainspot.net/links.shtmlThe 106 XSi has engine TU-3-FJ.2Z, your XN might have engine TU-1-MZ (although this might be the injection version). Your owner manual should give you the engine model.
