Does anybody know if there are suppliers of door repair kits for 504 ? The bottoms of 3 out of 4 of my doors have got holes in, one needs some serious metal. Dean Hunter has 'new' doors but his last figure was £200 a door ... too much for my daily drive.

Repair kits? I don't think that actually exists, then again you never know...
Try the spare parts catalogue of 504.org and look for any appropriate parts. If you do find what you need, try Peugeot Museum in France; they may have what you need (they can supply a list of everything they have for 504s upon request. It'll probably be in French though).
Alternatively, you could consider getting the damaged door sections redone by a professional. Guys like Brent Lord do this themselves and I believe he can also do private work for other people.

I understand that the 504 and 604 sharew the same doors. Not many 604's around but it widens the choice a bit

The 604 doors are not the same, but makes me wonder if 504 Pickup doors are the same as the saloon, anybody know. The worse one is a rear door.

As I remember, from 20 years ago when I owned one, the 504 Estate had the same front doors as the pick-up.They were higher at the back edge than those of the saloon. You may be able to get door skins from Peugeot or failing this get your own welded. There are plenty in scrap yards in France and it might justify a mini holiday there if you needed three of them.

The skins are not the problem as they are all v.good or I would have bought new ones already. Its the main body of the doors, in the bottom where water has sat over the years rusting them out. I have repaired a small hole in the passenger door using rust treatment, then glassfibre repair kit, afterwards a good seeing too with waxoyl. The drivers door is the best one, and will need even less treatment. The rear passenger side you can put your hand throught the bottom :-( and the other side has rusted away several inches high towards the catch.
I asked about panels, as a piece of metal the right shape would slip over and weld in nicely to fix the problem. I was under the impression rusty doors on 504 were common place so hoped there would be somebody with a cure! If not I am going to have to learn some new skills again :-)

Dean Hunter has 'new' doors but his last figure was £200 a door ... too much for my daily drive. btw I find that Dean Hunter is sometimes open to negotiation...sometimes! Why not order a set from Peugeot in Nigeria and have them shipped slow (to save cost!)

Well I did email Marshalls in Kenya who make Peugeots under licience about exhaust shields, they were very helpfull, unlike most UK Peugeot agents. They offered to ship parts from Africa! The shield isn't made anymore there either so was stuck. I think I will turn to some diy in the summer.
