please help me with cat bypass pipe

could someone please tell me if when i fit my cat bypass pipe,does it come with a threaded hole in it because there is a plug that sits just underneath the cat at the moment which is connected to the ecu,so it must be important.

You don't say what car it is? The wire will go to the Lambada sensor which reads exhaust controls and adjusts the fueling etc via the ECU.
