The "economy mode" relates to the automatic facility to power off some electrical accessories (eg: the radio) when they have been operating for some time without the engine running. It basically saves the battery from draining out, hence the name. Have a look at your user manual, it's all in the book. I've seen this on many occasions on my 406Coupé: I leave the radio on with the engine cut off and, after about 15min, the radio cuts off and the display shows the "economy mode" message. I don't know if the facility applies to the lights, unless if they are automatic maybe. I think that if your lights are controlled in the traditionnal way, the economy mode will not operate on them and your battery could have indeed drained out. Pardon my French, but whoever told you to reboot something is talking nutse (<-- that's the forum "economy mode" for s h i t e ! ) or probably works for the automobile manufacturing division of Microsoft. Your car will start again once the battery is recharged and the message will go away.
