Key Fobs (Blipper)

Hi I have just bought a 405 estate and the blipper isn't working as part of it is missing. I have just been to Peugeot to get a new one and was told it would take 3 weeks and £125

Now considering the car only cost £315 I find the price and time scale a little staggering!!!!!

I have seen the blippers up for sale on Ebay and wanted to know if you can program the frequency or if it preset on the blipper?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!!!!

P.S. Its a 405 STDT if that makes any difference

ashley those keys are preset to the code. the price you were quoted is for a new receiver and key fob. you used to be able to buy the key part seperate but because of the vechile age peugeot stopped making them.
