PLEASE PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP... I HAVE A 406 RAPIER ESTATE THE TEMP GAUGE IS IN THE RED,STOP COMES UP ON THE DASH... CHECKED WATER AND ITS FULL UP??? NOT MECHANICALLY MINDED NEED HELP THANX DONNA

Could have an air bubble in the coolant system.
Try running the car for a few minutes without the water cap on, that way if there is a bubble of air it will shift it out of the system. Check the level before you put the cap back on.
Alternately your thermostat could be shot. Or something else.
