..Is it worth doing?
Has anybody got any experience of chipping a 307 HDi (90) ? I see 'Dragon Booster' say they can hike it up to 110 BHp. Would it make a lot of difference? Is it worth it? I know it's easy to do, I'm OK with fitting it.
And, if they say they can boost a 90 to a 110 and a 110 to a 136 does this mean that all they are doing is what the manufacturer does? Is my 90 really a 110 with a different management system?..so to speak.

A tuning box will give a fair performance increase, but a remap (whilst cosing more and not being swappable to another car) will do better.
About 125 brake is the limit on the HDi 90 before heat becomes an issue, but the increase in driveability is very pleasing.
Your 90 probably has the Siemans injection. 406 90s and all 110s and 136s use Bosch, so while there are a host of detail differences between the different versions, the intercooler is the really significant one, and installing one will bring you into the general performance league of a 110 and should be the first sensible performance upgrade you consider.
I've got a 110 intercooler, pipework, rad shroud and intake manifold collar waiting to go on mine, but i'm waiting til I service the car next month and i'll bosh it out in one day.
