I wonder if anyone could help me . When i am driving along both my indicators come on for no reason and when i turn them on they switch off .I also get a clicking sound in the steering area.Is this a major problem and is it going to cost mega?

There could be two issues, either faulty indicator switch, or a problem with the multiplexing system if its fitted to your car. Multiplexing is bascially a computer network where all the switches are connected to the computer and the computer controls the functions. I'd start with the indicator stalk myself.

Indicator stalks were known to be a bit ropey certainly on the 02 plate.
I had issues with it randomly switching indication when you turned the steering wheel full lock.
Dealers said that it was a common fault, and a quick search on google said something similar.

we had a big recall on on 206 and 307 models which had a comms2000 unit. they were all faulty and were replaced under warranty. this is the unit that controlls your indicators, check with your local dealer to see if it was ever replaced.
