Hi all,
I have the above mentioned car, 2 litre patrol. Recently the cooling system behaves differently to what it did. During regular travel, without traffic jams or bumper to bumper travel, the gauge indicated 70-80 degrees throughout. But when the travel start to be congested, the gauge shows increase in temperature, until it reaches 110. It does not overheat, and even during lengthy non-moving traffic, it does not go over 110.
Radiator is hot everywhere, which means to me that it is not clogged. Fan is kicking in at 90. I have replaced thermostat.
Any advise?
