I HAVE A PEUGEOT 205 WITH THE XY8 ENGINE IN IT AND IT IS PLAYING UP BIG TIME ! WHEN I DRIVE HARD AND THEN STOP FOR ABOUT 5MINS WHEN U START TO REV IT WILL JUMP ABOUT AND MISS I HAVE CHANGED EVERYTHING ON THE INGINTION SIDE OFF THINGS OTHER THAN THE WIRING . CAN ANY ONE HELP ME PLEASE THANKS JAMES  |

If your sure everything has been checked, including distributor cap, points, condensor, vacuum, coil, spark plugs & leads, then turn your attention to fuel. If it has one of those small in-line filters then renew it, as these sometimes start to discintigrate blocking the flow of fuel. Have you changed the coil? it does sound like its breaking down, they are about £15.

i have changed the coil and every thing on the ingintion side with a new one and i have even put a fuel pump in and changed the fuel filter please keep helping me
