307 Stereo upgrade query

Hi all, would anyone know if it is possible to fit an aftermarket stereo and do away with the multi cd player thats mounted in the dash?

If so do I need any special parts or blanking plates?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You will need to source a unit that will work with the Peugeot multiplexing system. I think Sony do one. A regular after market unit will not work without the ECU complaining on your digital display etc.
