Odd behaviour on 307 trip computer

Quick question from a very new member.

I have an '04 307 HDi 90 S.

The total distance figure on the trip computer seems to change in an odd way.

When compared with the main odometer ( which I'm checked against a sat-nav system ) the trip computer seems to follow the following cycle over a 3 mile distance.

First mile change after 1.2 on odometer.
Second mile change after a further 1.3 on odometer.
Third mile change after a further 0.5 on odometer.

Anyone else noticed something like this or am I just being picky? :-)

I have a 53 reg 307cc that was recalled due to the odometer and the main mileometer not staying in sync. This was a software problem and was corrected in a Peugeot recall. Has yours had this work done?

I think the recall was a software download for the BSI
