Sure is... though I think the slip-dif is a little cranky since my bro sorted the rear-beam bushes out... also vibrates a lot at speed, reckon this is due to the new polyurothene bushes Shan't say what speed its start vibrating!

Thought of that one... the rear tracking is fixed on the Beamer... The new bushes do often increase the noise in the car... Need to get my mechanic in it and see what he thinks... not sure he's talking to me at the moment...
Living in fear that I am going to drop the pug on his door any day soon!

Mine was a 1980 Mini Clubman Estate that I bought whilst at catering college in Clacton to get me back home to the great North West. I was something of an optimist back then... That died quite soon after I bought it so my first car that I owned for longer than a month was a 1982 Opel Kadett 1.3S in oh so attractive metallic bronze. What a car...(cue misty eyes)...ah, we had some adventures together.
I'm a late convert to the Peugeot cause, getting my 405 back in January '04 and then my 505 last December.

My first ever car was a V Reg (1977 ! think) - Mini Sport Special edition 1.1. Loved it deeply, sold it for £250 when i was very very skint....wish I had it now it would be worth a fortune! First peugeot was 2 cars later - a F Reg 1.6 GTi with a 1.9 engine it, fantastic car, great for beating little boys away at the lights in their Nova's!!! Had some fun in that car!.

My first car was a 205 1.0l Junior. Suprisingly quick off the mark, but underpowered when it got going. Very realible, excellent condition, can't complain for £400.

Mine was a Vauxhall Chevette, then an E reg Peugeot 309 1.3 GL sold with 131,000 on the original engine. Then here's the crazy bit, in the last 7 years 206 GLX 1.6 206 GLX 1.6 206 GTI Citroen C3 - BIG MISTAKE!!! 206 GTI 307 XSi HDI 136 407 SE HDI 136 407 SV HDI 136 407 SE HDI 110 and now 307 Sport and 1991 205 GTI 1.6 (best car to drive out of all the above) The 407 136's are the most comfortable cruisers with poke when needed. Any ideas as to who I work for?!

Citroen LNA IIe (mum's really! ;D) then... Escort mk II with lots of non-standard bits (very fast car) then... Escort mk II with fewer non-standard bits (much longer lasting car ) then... mk II Cavalier 1600GLS (very standard, very boring car, missed it when it finally got nicked after 2 and a half years tho) ...period of works van as a delivery driver... then... Fiesta mk I 1.1L (totally standard until lwr balljoint collapsed, then rebuilt as Mk II 1.1 ghia - glass and shell were all that was left of mk I. More work than it sounds! then... mk I XR2 ... ;D then... mk II Fiesta 1.0 (thought it would slow me down but I just ended up ragging it everywhere until I treated it to a 1298 Valencia lump out of a Mk 4 Escort - THEN I was sensible!) then... Mk IIIb Escort 1.4 (acquired many bits of early XR3...) then... Fiat Uno 55ie (actually quite a nice car, had for nearly 2 years before some idiot set fire to it) then... Rover Metro 1.1 - K series metro! yayy! (this is known to my friends as 'the million dollar metro...') excellent fun little car - much underated and frequently mis-compared to another car with an A-series engine... then... Peugeot 205 trio SX! Fantastic fun little car! then... Peugeot 206 1.4 16v sport - Great car, can't keep, sad to see go, but suspension was always too squishy for the engine then... Peugeot 205 CJ! The current ride of choice! does all this make me sound like a petrol head?

Ok... back in 1993 i got a 950 mk1 fiesta (called uncle fester! - not very imaginative but i was 7!) My dad restricted it to first gear and left me to play in a field!!! then, when that one died i got another and another then.... a ****ing Granada! - worst thing ever! - couldn't move the thing, so i used it as an outhouse! after a few years without a car, i got my first road car.... 847cc of pure power! (i blew off my "L" plates doing 75mph on a backroad in that thing!) ;D Daihatsu Cuore (in metalic lilac! - so i nicknamed it Boris!) but sadly it got snapped in half a week after my driving test! it kinda went downhill from there... 205tref's 1.1 metro - never actually started for me (although, apparently thats because it had been offroad and the fuel hose had perished!) then a Kia Pride deathtrap - evil thing! then 205trefs trio sx 205!!! the best car i have ever had the pleasure of putting into triple figures!!! (with no modifications! - except a faulty voltage reg. and a small hole in the exhaust) sadly i murdered that car into the back of a 206 then the worlds worst 106 XND graduate - top speeds of around 45mph, and it was red! then the trio was put back into action after much love and bending of metal! 35,000 miles later, an AA man blew it up for me so it finally died! more recently, it's been a nissan micra - say no more Now i have a 306 1.9 diesel (sadly also in red) and my pride and joy! 1981 peugeot 104 ZL ;D - project from ebay ;D - not that i kill cars or anything - they die of old age mostly - if anybody has any ideas for either a 1.6gti 205 track car, or a daihatsu cuore racer - i'd be most interested!
