So you started out with a Pug!
My first car, way back in 1881 was a 104 ZS 1124. Followed by a 104 ZS then a 104 ZS. I had a break with Pugs for many years after that owning amongst other cars a Ford Escort Mexico Mk1, a Fiat 131 sport, a couple of Citroen Visa Gti's and several Golf's. Current caR, A 104 ZS. Full circle. :-)

Mine was a Mk1 Ford Fiesta "bravo" edition so I got two tone red and silver paint, cassette deck and sunroof. It was a German built one so lasted a little longer than the British built ones, but didnt stop me flogging off to get a Peugeot 205 :-))) followed then by 106, a Morris Minor, a Fiat Punto Cabriolet, and now my 104 and 504.

My first ZS did the same thing. Bought from about 2 miles down the road. made it home in acloud of head gasket steam and didn't move again for six months. It did live though.

'58 or '61 Austin Cambridge, ex-taxi. (The passing of time has clouded the memory). Cost me £25.
And no, I didn't buy it new.

My 1st car was a 1977 Chrysler Alpine, I learned to drive and past my test in it. Guess in a way it was a Pug as iirc Talbot bought Chrysler then Peugeot got Talbot.

Rover 820i - Started off small... you should try getting insurance on one of those things at 20 with 6 points on your licence... Insurance was more than the car... but it was a nice motor... died at 173000 miles on the clock...
Second car was old reliable pugeot 406 - I could always rely on it to break down on the same journey every week.
New car BMW 325i SE...
