there was a mod to remove a washer from the front upper suspension arm for a knocking noise whilst turning over a bump

Whereabouts is that then ? would I be able to see it ?
Is it on the large bolt on the outer part on the scissor(?) arm/plate assy ?
Which bit do you call the front upper ?

BTW, just came back from North Devon today, went back via the old A roads rather than the dual carriageway from Barnstable to Tiverton as it looked very busy on the way there. Car handled a treat thrown around all the sweeping bends. It was a joy to drive. Lovely smooth road surfaces, they certainly know how to look after their roads in Devon/Exmoor. Back to the crappy potholed excuse for a road system that is South Gloucestershire ! bump bang rumble...
