A careful review of Le Club 404's original Registry archives from 2009 has revealed the following new cars:

Mr Håkan Granlund of Transportstyrelsen (Sweden) today gave me a huge list of all Peugeot 404s that are in Sweden, whether on the road or not. Obviously the vast majority of the 963 cars are sedans, estates and utes, but to my surprise there were 5 more 404 C models:
4590812, C Injection, 1963, car is not on the road in 2012, location: SWEDEN
4595419, C Injection, 13 April 1965, car is not on the road in 2012, location: SWEDEN
4498145, Coupé Carburateur, 19 Aug 1965, this car is on the road in 2012, location: SWEDEN
6800015, C Injection, 09 septembre 1969, car is not on the road in 2012, location: SWEDEN
6802220, Coupé Injection, 13 May 1968, car is not on the road in 2012, location: SWEDEN
....and that makes the total 1687 cars, of which 64 are Swedish.

One of the Swedish 404 C records proved to be incorrect, but to make up for the "loss" of that, I found another, this one in Hungary. It seems to be in very nice condition. Obvious problems are stainless trim on the sills that are too short, incorrect trunk/boot trim (should be pebbled rubber and ribbed rubber mats. Another "problem" is the red leather interior, that suits this colour very well in my opinion.
