Another 404 C has been discovered: 4497445, Coupé with Carburator engine, first registered on 21 April 1964, colour: Noir 1000, car is for sale right now (January 2011), car is originally from France as you can see the original license still on the car: 4929 M 93, located in Hungary. Two more have come to the list thanks to the website of GT Spirit, which surely is the most expensive source for these cars in the world..... Only the Carrosserie Numbers are visible on the photos, so there exists a possibility that these two vehicles are already in the Registry under serial number only (most of the cars in the Registry do not also have associated Carrosserie Numbers in the same list), but I think they should be added anyway. No. Carrosserie : 1163, Cabriolet Carburator 1962, Blanc Saratoga 1031, 25.900 Euro, 01120 LA BOISSE FRANCE  No. Carrosserie : 176, Cabriolet Carburator 1962, Blanc Saratoga 1031, 25.900 Euro, post-1966 grille, front sidelights and turn indicators from a 1964-66 model, therefore it is a fairly bad example! 01120 LA BOISSE FRANCE  Total: 1481! |

Here is another one, again by Carrosserie number only (the serial number is not visible in the photo and the person who took the photo didn't have a pen with him): Update: I got a better photo from him and the serial number is 4498883. I received a new one today: 4598733, a Cabriolet, originally with Injection engine but now converted to carburator, 1966 model, colour: Bleu Pavone 1036, Tan leather, this car will be restored during 2011, location: ATHENS GREECE  Actually it seems to be in quite OK condition already! Total: 1483 ! |

News from Germany:
4597164, a Cabriolet Injection, was scrapped in Germany some years ago.
That brings the total of the 404 C cars we know about to 1485, of which 33 are scrapped.

4499262, No. Carrosserie 11367, a Cabriolet with Carburator engine, model year 1966, Bleu Mendoza 1134, scrapped for parts in 2011, location: GIRONDE FRANCE  4592522, No. Carroserie 3934, a Coupé Injection engine, model year 1964, red and black, car is for parts only, location: GIRONDE FRANCE  Also worth noting is that there was an error in the database up to now, with another car laying claim to the serial number 4592522, but since there is a photo of this serial number associated with Carrosserie number 3934, we have to call this other serial number wrong and instead list this other car by its Carrosserie number of 3560. Total: 1492 cars!
